History
Founded by Rex Perrine in 1993, Corex Home Inspections Inc has been providing first-rate home inspections to homebuyers and sellers throughout Southeast Michigan. Rex believed that truly professional service requires building a good relationship with every client. In 2017, before his retirement, Rex trained and mentored his long-time friend Duran Grisa to become the new owner of Corex Home Inspections Inc. Duran brings with him 30 years of experience as a business owner in Southeast Michigan. He is committed to maintaining Corex’s core values by learning about each client’s needs so that he can help them see the quality and viability of any home.

Duran has always enjoyed working with his hands, leading him to explore the building trade at a young age. For over 30 years, Duran worked on various new construction and remodeling projects, meticulously sharpening his skill set to ensure that his contributions were conducive to safe and sound structures that could withstand the pressures of age and environmental stress. Through owning and maintaining his own homes and commercial properties, Duran understands the importance of knowing exactly what you’re looking at when considering an investment. As a professional home inspector, Duran sees it as his duty to fully disclose a home’s strengths and weaknesses to each and every client—whether you’re a first-time buyer or well-experienced with the process.

Our detailed inspection reports clearly communicate each and every issue that we discover, avoiding any excessive technical jargon so that you can get a solid grasp on what a particular home will offer. We’re also happy to answer any additional questions that you may have over the phone, even if it’s months after your original inspection. Phone calls are accepted daily until 7 p.m.
When he’s not performing home inspections, Duran enjoys spending time with his wife and family—including three crazy but lovable dogs. Duran is very active in his church and loves to go on adventures outdoors, whether it’s camping, biking, hiking, or kayaking. Duran is also an experienced drummer and percussionist.
